WRAP is a self management course for members of Stepping Stones. It enables individuals to increase personal responsibility, regain control and improve their quality of life. It is a learning tool supporting members to develop new skills.
The course is available through group facilitation. The course supports members to design their own wellness toolbox and daily maintenance plan. The plan helps members identify triggers and early warning signs of a mental health relapse. Members also design their own action plans should a crisis occur.
WRAP ensures that the person undertaking the training is at the heart of the process.
The five key concepts of WRAP are; hope, personal responsibility, education, self advocacy and support.
